Elton Foresters 306 SBF

The engine picture here shows a pistonfrom this project. Normally the notch or dot on the piston will be on the front side of the engine but these are not. The pistons in this motor are installed backwards from normal . The reason for this is because the motor is reverse rotation. Remember this motor is going in a ski boat. Back when this boat was designed the engines spun backwardsin boats. The reason for installing the pistons in bacwards was to stop piston slap.

The pistons are SpeedPro stock replacement pistons with a 4.030 bore.  This engine spins a CraneCams rev rotation flat tappet camshaft specs are for low end torque and low RPM horsepower.  Remember this engine is going in a 1000lbs. ski boat.
