Brad aschehr broke his powerglide transmission this year at the NMCA ZMax event. He brought it to me at CRE Performance to see what happened and this is what we found. Broken planetarys!!! 8.70@157 with stock 1.76 planetarys is not going to last very long. After talking it over with Brad we wanted it to be strong enough to last 5 years or more this time so I decided to sent the transmission to Jason Gatlin of ATF (Automatic Trransmission Factory). Brad and I sent the trans to ATF for a new set of 180 ratio billet planetarys. After Jason gets done with this P/G transmission it will beable to handle 1600+ HP.
